PortoBay Teatro

This is a great hotel in the center of Porto, walking distance to tons of shopping and restaurant options plus not too far from the river and all the sights the city has to offer. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had everything we needed and the shower had great water pressure with an overhead rainforest option. The breakfast was abundant with excellent variety. The hotel bar was also a nice feature that offered sophisticated drinks which was a perfect way to end each day.

The hotel is well located for the main station and Metro to the airport. The room was well designed and met all our needs. The breakfast was extensive and good quality. The central heating appeared to require reception to activate it.

The desk staff were very helpful. The check in was fast & efficient, and they answered all my questions about local spots to visit.

Comfortable hotel with excellent staff. Breakfast had everything you could wish for. Room was well cleaned and serviced everyday. It was our birthdays whilst we were there and the hotel placed a nice cake and a bottle of sparkling wine in the room for us - very much appreciated. We had to leave very early in the morning for our flight, the hotel provided us with a very acceptable breakfast pack to take with us - great service.

I liked that the location was central to everything. Everything was within a 10-15 minute walk or less. There is a lot of construction happening but that cannot be helped. The staff was helpful and the room was more than enough for our stay. They do have a bigger location where the spa and pool are located so if you are looking to be more central stay here but if you are looking for the amenities you will need to book their larger location as this was simply the restaurant and the rooms. You will still have access to the amenities though if you were to walk over.
