This is a lovely hotel with extremely welcoming and friendly, helpful staff. Room and bathroom were extremely clean and the shower was excellent. Bed was comfortable.The restaurant is nice and airy with a Scandinavian feel...and the Italian dinner and beakfast there was very good. You can also eat in the less formal bar which has a tv. The hotel is well placed for all the Porto sights. It took us about 20 minutes to walk down to the river front which is a lively area with bars cafes and restaurants.

Hazel

This hotel is centrally located and has great facilities. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip and staff are really friendly and helpful. Lots of shops and restaurants close by and all sights are within walking distance, albeit be prepared for the hills of Porto. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Porto. Also the hotel has a great restaurant that looked excellent and was really popular for dinner. We also got a free city map which was handy.

From check-in to check-out, our two-night stay with Portobay Teatro was PERFECT! The room size was spacious and the room itself was well appointed. Although you’re in the heart of down town, we were able to sleep with the balcony door open and enjoyed the fresh breeze and waking to the sounds of seagulls playing on the breeze. You could also access the river front within a 10-12 min walk as well as some amazing restaurants.

This hotel is amazing. The staff is super friendly, Pedro was so outgoing and kind and really helped make the experience all that much better. The food and room service options at the hotel are great. The bed is really comfortable, with a lot of space in the bedroom. Everything was just very comfortable and it was perfect for our stay.
